Ferd Social Entrepreneurs (FSE) is a partner for Ashoka in Norway. FSE invests in social entrepreneurs that enable children and young people to develop and reach their full potential. Ferd’s support enabled us to find and select two new Ashoka Fellows in Norway during 2012 and 2013.
Ashoka and Boehringer Ingelheim's global partnership - Making More Health (MMH) - enables Ashoka to elect and support Fellows working with innovative ideas in Health that contribute to transforming the Health sector. MMH works across 30 countries to promote healthy individuals, families, and communities. In 2012, the first Scandinavian Ashoka Fellow within MMH was elected.
Hugo Stenbecks Stiftelse is a partner to Ashoka in Sweden and has supported Ashoka Scandinavia over the last three years, both with stipends for Ashoka Fellows and funding for the global Ashoka program Globalizer. Thanks to Hugo Stenbecks Stiftelse, Ashoka Scandinavia has been able to expand the team in 2012 and go on a tour around Sweden together with Reach for Change.
Ashoka Scandinavia is coordinating AF Jochnick Foundation’s support to Ashoka in Indonesia and Peru. Ashoka has been able to elect and support seven Fellows in Indonesia and Peru, as well as five in Indonesia and two in Peru working in the field of education or healthcare.
Ashoka and Ben & Jerry's joined forces to source and select great social innovations in Sweden, Denmark and a number of other European countries for the "Join Our Core" competition. Ben & Jerry's also supports Ashoka in Norway.
Conni Jonsson's contributions have enabled Ashoka to elect and support three Fellows in Indonesia working in education, religious tolerance by community building and anti-corruption leading to poverty reduction.
